Rev Dr Tim Hein is the Minister at Malvern Uniting Church in Adelaide.
He co-hosts The Unmade Podcast with Brady Haran.
He is the author of Understanding Sexual Abuse: A Guide for Ministry Leaders & Survivors (2018).
he was previously Vice-principal at Uniting College for Leadership & Theology, then Executive Officer of Mission & leadership Development for the SA Synod of the Uniting Church. In 2007 he led a team planting citysoul, a new church in the cbd of Adelaide. From 2003-2005 he ran the year in the song program at Tabor College Victoria. he commenced ministry working with Concern Australia, and as an intern at St Martins, Collingwood.
he was an elected member on Mitcham Council from 2012 – 2018, and has served on several boards. he has consulted with various NGO’s on strategic planning through capacity Builders.
He is an ordained Minister in the Uniting Church in Australia.
Tim loves alternative music and tennis. he is married to priscilla, also a Minister, and they have two teenage daughters.
